ANDHA Pradesh

India has always been proud of its integrity in spite of having a mix of different religions, caste and different states. Well, but the question to be asked is Do we not understand the basic meaning of integrity or are we masters at pretending. "Unity in diversity" has become nothing but a paradox statement. What one gains from having a separate state. May be better control and better law and order. But here the same person is ready to break the law and disturb the order in his quest for a separate state. If a political leader enjoys huge fan following like in southern part of India, then he must also be aware of his social responsibility on moral grounds. The whole state of Andhra Pradesh went berserk, since central government has succumbed to the pressure. It would have been even worse had government been firm on its stance of an undivided AP. But it definitely has exposed central government on this front. Further, it has again questioned the credibility of our politicians. Or it has given a simple solution to get your demands fulfilled. But does the government provide food and shelter to a poor who is dying of hunger. Probably not because his life is not so important or he is not on an official hunger strike. If solutions start coming like this, then these are not solutions. These are forced results and would lead only to anarchy. And if this is the way it would need only one popular Indian political leader to put his life at stake to have Kashmir out of India as an independent state or part of Pakistan, provided his vested interests lies in this. Leaders should learn not to lead by examples, but lead by good examples. Who knows, such examples may lead India to fragmented country. Still, we would continue to be proud of "Unity in Diversity"...
